Xmas party in FEF.com.

24 December 2008

My sore throat and flu has gotten worse, my head feels stuffed up when I woke up. I couldn't breathe, half deaf and I couldn't talk properly too. Argh! I hate this feeling...

Went down to the clinic to extend my MC but the doctor was not in, how unlucky... I have to come again another day.

Bought chee cheong fun for lunch, I added the sesame seeds myself. I miss the curry chee cheong fun from Kampar. T_T

I had to go back to work, one last mock up to finish up and I don't want to delay it any longer. Make a guess... what did I find on my desk? Lots of chocolates, yeah! I have to keep them till I don't have anymore sore throat.

Chocolate spoons from Guerlain. I almost wanted to buy these last night, phew~

This big box of chocolates, A4 size. I asked Guerlain to save me the leftovers, yeah she did. Thank you!

Know what's the big problem? The chocolates blocks were so big and they only eat 3 blocks of it??? That is really a lot of leftovers for somebody with sore throat... -_-"

Chocolates and candies from Martha.

My gift from Sarah, I'll open my gifts at home.

Time to prepare for my company's Xmas celebration! Arranging the gifts on the table... Everybody in the company have to get a gift with a budget of $10 for the gift exchange. Different numbers will tagged on all the gifts, everybody will take a number and collect the gift with the number they have chosen.

One of the pretty xmas arrangements made by our Creativeworkz teachers.

Another on, this is very sweet looking. Lovely~

Now comes the most important part of all: Food!

Panettoni with hazelnuts. I love panettoni...

Sugar crusted panettoni, we don't have the one with chocolate chips this year. That was really really delicious.

Cookies...

and more cookies. I cannot eat cookies, will aggravate my cough.

Chocolates and candies.

Fried battered prawns. I can't eat the fried stuffs too.

Fried spring rolls.

Curry puffs.

Pizzas.

Ham and lots of ham. The white one is too salty.

Chicken wings.

Look at what Peisan is doing! She's cutting up the turkey, so it will be easier for everybody to eat. Nobody else in the company knows how to cut up the turkey, so our General Manager has to do it. Seriously, I can't even cut a birthday cake nicely...

Juicy juicy turkey. A lot of people have been telling me that turkeys are not nice to eat at all, very dry, tasteless, blar blar... The first time I tasted a turkey, it was in my company, so the turkey is very very nice! Never had any yucky turkeys before. I might want to order one for myelf next year and have it all myself! Hahaha~

Before the party starts, boss, Sarah, Peisan and I were chewing on the bones of the turkey. Hahaha~ Damn nice lar, I love the bony parts.

Boss giving his speech.

Giving out the numbers for the gifts...

Everybody queuing up to get their gifts.

Aunty Amy walked away with the big prize.

I really have no idea how Sarah took this picture, I have the 'Eww...' face, I didn't even do that! Oh gosh!

I managed to get a very cute red gingerbread man cupcake! The chocolate cupcake was very moist and delicious.

All the staffs, some of them are not here.

Party ended at 8.30pm. Here's what I got from the gift exchange.

A Crabtree n Evelyn Summer Hill hand lotion.

A little gift from Peisan.

Clinique lip gloss. This will come in handy, thanks!

A pouch and a sewing machine necklace from Sarah. Damn cute! Love the necklace. Thank you very much!

Not exactly a gift, it was Jen's gift but I think she doesn't like chocolates, so she gave it to me. Thanks Jen.
