Look at all the colors like yellow, blue, & green

31 July 2010

Here I am at Ramen Monster with sister during my lunch break. The thing about this stall is that you can choose thin or thick ramen and also your choice of cha siew (normal or lean).

Cute drawings on the walls, apparently it attracts kids like me. Hahaha!

Tsuke-men. The soup is not bad but I don't like the seaweed, it has a very strong smell.

Spicy ramen, the soup base is not as nice as Tsuke-men's.

The egg is not bad, runny yolk. Mmm... Too bad it's not well-stewed.

Top up $3 for this slim gyoza and a glass of free flow ice lemon tea, hot or cold green tea.

It's never goodbye.

Guerlain came back to office today and we lunched out. Fish bee hoon at Novena, it's good! Too bad, I can never finish my food.

And look, my 'babies' has finally arrived! So happy! Same catalog with 2 different covers.

This is my favourite. I chose all those pretty flowers and the arrangement was done by a florist. Of course, styling done by marcom girls. =P

Mine!

Boss comes in our department and makes sure he leaves his 'shopping bag' high enough for all of us to see.

Okay, I got a feel of it too. Not really tempted though.

Time for Guerlain's farewell and engagement party after work at Little Part 1 Cafe, a really cosy place.

Menus.

This quote kind of reminds me of Nadine. Hahaha!

Interior.

Our star of the night!

Here comes our drinks.

Caramel latte served with cashew cookie, $5.50.

Lemon Verbena, $6. The menu says that it improves blood circulation and soothes abdominal discomfort.

Lychee Sorbetto Soda, $6. I don't know why it's foamy at the top. Hmm...

And that's me with pouty lips, trying to figure out which angle would be best for the bowl of curried fries.

Curried fries, $6.90. It's not really curry, more like herbs and spices. Kind of regreted after having it because most main dishes comes with lots of fries and mash. Hahaha!

Chicken Schnitzel, $18.90. This has to be the best main dish out of all but I'm not saying the rest of the main dishes aren't good. The chicken was crispy, tender and fragrant. Mmm..

Fish n' Chip, $16.90.

Shepherd's Pie, $16.90. Love the beef and mushroom filling, together with the mash. Savory and comforting food.

Belgian Fish n' Mussel Stew, $21.90.

Salmon crepe, $16.90.

Then desserts! I have to use my 'other compartment' for it. Haha.

Mudpie with Ice-cream, $7.50. Sinfully delicious, it kills any chocolate lovers. The mudpie was crispy on the outside and moist inside, could almost feel the chocolate melting in your mouth.

Apple Crumble with Ice-cream, $8.50. I'm usually not a apple crumble fan but this is oh-so-good with it's crispy crust and warm apple chunks. Oooo... nom nom nomm...

Rebec and Sshufen sneaks out of the cafe to combine the scrapbook we have done for Guerlain.

My hole puncher, passed down from Phoebe shifu. It's still nicely intact!

Proudly presenting the scrapbook we made for Guerlain!

Very touched by us, right?

All the different pages done by us. The papers were all distributed quite some time ago and combined today. Hahaha!

Photography session, we were very noisy in the cafe.

Here's something interesting. Hahaha!

A gift from guerlain. Thank you, girl!

{credits to Tracy, I used some off her pictures =P}

So fruitily sweet, I wanna eat it.

Did my nails with orange and pink! Don't you think it looks like the fruity mentos?

Sweet and yummy looking. Mmm...
