Just another day.

19 July 2009

I got this Micro-Crock Slow Cooker from the thrift shop near Sembawang Shopping Center for only $5. What a good deal!

Tried cooking soup with it, I think I still like my soup boiled and this Micro-Crock takes too long for my soup to be cooked nicely. I use it for some other things instead.

Mum and Dad came back from Johore Bahru and bought some cakes from Secret Recipe to share. =)

Just Acia.

18 July 2009

Just Acia.

There is free flow soft drink and ICE CREAM!

Me. xoxo~

We shared 2 set meals. A dumpling set that is only $5.90. This is very not nice, the meat is miserable, not even half a teaspoon of meat in each dumpling.

The second set costs $14.90, it has teriyaki chicken...

and soft shell crab. This has too much batter.

Both sets come with rice, miso soup and kimchi. I didn't touch the rice.

Love my hair! This is going to be my new profile picture for facebook, twitter... Oh, my nose so sharp. Haha!

Watch Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince.

Rate it: 2.5/5
Where has all the action gone too? Kind of boring. The last one was too violent though. Hmm... I just don't get it why that professor's magic was so good out of a sudden. His magic was poor in the second movie. Wakaranai~

Red hot head.

17 July 2009

My pretty little cactus which I got from Ikea for only $2.90, I replanted it inside the pretty ceramic pot from Daiso. Love the red head, it's as hot-headed as me. Haha!

Lunch all toasted from the little toaster oven. Healthy and delicious meal!

Chocolates from Muji, makes me feel better when I get too stressful.

One down.

16 July 2009

Back from exams, dress like a little school girl with her backpack. Haha!

This is random.

I love my crocs but it's getting kinda old. Should I get a new pair?

My food, my snack.

15 July 2009

Ever tried the Rosti from Ikea? It's good. Box of 8 pieces for only $3.30.

Rosti with meat dumplings. Thumbs up!

Snacks for my tea break too, Red bean toast. =)

Very short update.

14 July 2009

Studying and I made sushi for lunch! Delicious and healthy.

Daisy is too cute for a picture. I think she's getting closer with me now. =)

Exam starts soon.

13 July 2009

At the bus stop.

Waiting for the bus.

Going home from office, after a meeting.

Lunch at Astons and my brother is showing off his new headphone.

This is taken by my brother.

Teriyaki Chicken.

Hickory BBQ chicken. Don't you think both cutlets looks the same?

Itadakimas!

Bought 2 cupcakes from a bakery in Sembawang Shopping Center. Not cheap okay! $4.20 each!

Blueberry.

Chocolate granache filling, yum yum.

They have this curry bun which looks like the one I got from Hokkaido Fair.

The filling is very much different.

Sister's bunny buried in her hill of clothes.

My internet connect has been really bad, keeps going on and off, till I'm sick of trying to get online. Argh!

Just 2 weeks.

12 July 2009

Had dinner and did some chit-chatting with my girlfriends. We're going to meet up soon again. =)

Food Fairs are Fabulous!

11 July 2009

There was a food fest at Novena Square and it's time for lunch. The curry fishballs were fabulous!

Kuehs from Ivin's, there's udang, kueh Kosui and coconut. I miss the kueh kosui from Bollywood already.

A cup of Grypton's Lemon Ginger Mint tea at Donut Factory.

They are giving away 2 free donuts for any drinks ordered, 11am till 2pm daily.

Did you go to the Hokkaido Fair at Tampines? I missed the one at Scotts Isetan, so I had to go to Tampines, it's from 3 to 12 July. Something not to be missed!

Click to view larger images and more information here.

The largest sushi roll I've ever seen! I wasn't able to get their bento, it was too expensive at $25 and above.

Now, everyone say "Itadakimas!", it's time for lots of yummy pictures!

The bag says Pullman Bakery.

Danshaku Potato Curry Bun, $2.80 each, buy 3 get 1 free.

It's crispy-crunchy on the outside and bursts with curry when you bite into it. Definitely, Oishi!

Next! Mori No Ikameshi (Seasoned Squid with Glutinous Rice), $6.80 per box.

The squid is stuffed with glutinous rice and braised in a special sweet soy sauce. Not tough to chew on and it is one of my favourites!

Hot steam buns from KATO SUISAN, they are famous for their Taraba Crab Bun also known as On Ni Kan Bo, tucked inside the warm soft bun is a whole sumptuous flesh of a crab's leg. One of these buns costs $13.20, so please do not think that the one I'm having is crab bun.

This is a scallop with pasta sauce bun, only $3.

The bun is soft and the ingredients used is generous. Thumbs up!

This is the Fruit Omlette from CHE MIU which I have been eyeing for, ever since I saw the advertisement. Definitely value for money, although it is $4 each. I almost went to heaven at the first bite. The omelette was soft with lots of cream and fruits inside. Ahh~ I'm glad I did not choose to forego it.

If there is going to be another Hokkaido Fair, I will make sure that I attend it again and save up more money for those yummy-looking bentos. Oh, please come again soon!
