A farewell and a suprise in prep.

01 September 2011

Thank you, Christine, for the cute souvenir from Taiwan. =)

I prepared farewell gifts for everyone, not enough though. Haha! Hope all of you like the peanut butter cornflakes.

Presents for my fellow Marcom-ers.

My last lunch together with them as their colleague at Bishan Junction 8, Ambush. Nice menu they've got, it's like a newspaper.

Weekday lunch sets is available from 11am to 5pm, a total of 6 hours for you to enjoy these offers. How could anyone miss it?

The lunch set comes together with a soup of the day and choice of a soft drink, coffee or tea. For the sausage sets, top up $2 to change your mash potato to rosti.

Calamari, it's the mini version on bamboo sticks, served with mayonnaise. A little chewy and has a nicely fried fragrance.

Pork Cheese Cracker, pork sausage with cheese, the sauce oozes out when you bite on it.

Bockwurst made of fine ground pork sausage with crispy skin.

French Chicken Garlic, it is a little dry.

Mixed Seafood Marinara Sauce.

Salmon Thai Basil Sauce.

Tomato soup, we only realized that the waiters did not serve us in the correct order when this was served right in front of me when most of their main courses are already here.

Ambush's Paella, there are white clams, mussels, queen scallops, prawns, sliced bacon and sausages. The rice has absorbed the tomato sauce, thus it's full-of-flavour and oomph~

Indulge~!

We have a secret surprise for Christine tomorrow, preparation works in progress.

Mindy starts outlining Purin on the cake.

Tadaa~

Then she traces it with the chocolate frosting.

I filled the Purin with yellow, while Kat filled the beret with more brown.

Boyfriend fills the grass, the biggest area of the whole cake.

Crushed the blue flowers and we sprinkled it into the sky.

Adding "Happy Birthday Christine"

Kat continues to add more flowers.

Tadaa~! Our finished product. *grins*

Cheers! We can't wait for the surprise tomorrow. Hehe.
