East meets west!

05 March 2010

And I'm here again at Hairloom and Caramel! Joana is back in Singapore and so we're meeting up with her, she got engaged not long ago.

Left: Lemon Sour Plum $4.50. Right: Vita Plum $4.90.

Spaghetti with chicken and cabbage in sesame sauce, $10.50. Surprisingly, it was pretty good, almost like chinese fried noodles.

Spaghetti with salmon in house special pink sauce, $10.50. The smell of the cheese is strong enough to kill me.

Spaghetti with bacon and onion in pesto cream sauce, $10.50.

In this picture (far back), you should see the almost finished up Tofu salad with dried bean curd skin and seaweed in sesame dressing - $8.50, and also Garlic butter toast - $1. Tofu salad was yummy, fresh lettuce and seaweed sesame dressing. Who would think of that? Kudos to East meets West!

Guerlain and I wanted to try their desserts and so we ordered a Chocolate Caramel - $3.50 to share.

1. It's not sinful, so thumbs down.
2. The cake is dry. Tsk!
3. Taste like some cheap cake from our neighbourhood cake shop.
4. Definitely not worth the money!
Why did they even bother to put a 'Must Try' sign?

More pictures of the cafe.

Love that mirror hidden at the back.

Their current promotion.
