Was down with a migraine and I think it was kind of a scary one last night. Almost puke on the bus, got down the bus halfway and boyfriend had to fetch me. 又麻烦你了.

Visit the doctor, did the usual checks and he asked me to go for a MRI, just to make sure there's nothing serious about me. O_o

me: How much would that cost?
doc: 5oo or 600 perhaps. Of course, it wouldn't be cheap.
me: err... I can't go. I think I will wait. (I was so scared deep down inside.)
doc: Then I can only give you medicine and not be able to fix the root of the problem.
me: I know, I understand. (I have no money.)

Yes, after working for so long and I still don't have much savings. Got school fees to pay and my salary is really low. Tsk. Nevermind, I don't want to talk about this.

Anyway I found one of my favourite cake! The steam egg cake! It's not easy to find it nowadays.

Also bought some yong tau foo home, so I could make myself lunch. Used a can of spiced pork cubes to make soup together with the yong tau foo I bought and added pasta too.




Woo. It's yummeh!

Let's just wait and see.

Meals at Take 5 are usually just average food pay with a slightly high price, just saying the quality of food is not worth the price.






Done moving office (from level 2 to level 1), let's just see how long my desk can stay this neat.

What should I name this title?

Nice lunch at Novena Square's Kopitiam Food Court, I always think they don't have much food there but to my surprise, they have Indonesian food. Grilled Pomfret Fish with sweet BBQ sauce, the price was quite reasonable for the amount of serving.




Bought this bottle of Organic Apple Juice from Cold Storage, it was on a 50% discount because its expiry date is nearing. Took me ages to queue for payment.




Cleared my desk! We moving office soon, finally a change of environment and hopefully a much better one.




Pi and I went to Sim Lim Square, I'm going to get a new CPU to use at home. My notebook's screen is very small and it's quite irritating sometimes when I feel my work is limited by it - slow and not efficient.

Had dinner at Sim Lim Square's Food Court, I still chose the Shanghai Noodle Stall, they never fail disappoint my taste buds. =)

TCC is having a 1-for-1 main course promotion until 24th July. It's not wrong for us to indulge once in a while, right?




Mint-Choc Frappé. Not mine though, I have a diet to watch. It's not like I can finish my food and still able to maintain my weight, I have to refuse even when I really want to have it sometimes.




Wild Shrooms Spaghetti for a healthier choice. Not too creamy for me and the mushrooms goes perfectly well together with the pasta.




Cheesy Shrooms Gratin. I didn't try it.




Mentaiko Spaghetti with Salmon Tataki. I really wanted to order this dish but I can't have eggs anymore, I have too many bruises on me. Pi ordered it instead, just so that I could taste it a little. It was heavenly! Pi even cleared his plate.




Ocean Sur'fin. I forgot how this tastes like, wasn't really that delicious for me to remember perhaps. *shrugs*

Met up with Pi for a late night dinner together at The Roti Prata House, limiting myself to only one prata. It's high in trans fat, never good for health and weight of course.

I tried the Bibimbab from the Korean Stall at Fork n' Spoon, it's was alright. Why is my egg a sunny side up? It should not be this way, which is a little disappointing.

Light dinner at Ministry of Food, I was craving for their Salmon Salad and we weren't very hungry anyway. Ordered a Salmon Wasabi Sandwich too, it was packed with lots of lettuce and gives a little tinge of 'wasabi rush'. Wooo.








Initially I wanted a Kuromitsu Soft Serve and Pi wanted an Iced Macha and I saw the image of the Ice Macha with something which looks like a soft serve on top with Kuromitsu Sauce. I thought we could just order that but when it came... The soft serve look-a-like was actually just whipped cream. *sad face* I feel cheated because the image of the whipped cream inside the menu was so tall too.




Just sucking on some ice. =P

Never enough.

Pi and I went all the way to Chinatown just to get some yummy white biscuits. They're not really biscuits but just round egg cakes powdered with lots of flour on the outside after they are baked.






And I thought their sponge cake looks soft and fluffy.

Since we're there in Chinatown, we might as well have dinner at the hawker center too. Ordered a plate of meat dumplings to share and it's already enough to fill our tummies, together with a cup of sugarcane juice each.

Minty melty birthday.

And so I was cheated by Jen to go over to the conference room, she was asking me to choose some new materials which I thought the idea has already been totally scraped.




The surprise happened inside the conference room when I was still choosing the material. The rest of them came in with a ice-cream cake from Baskin Robbins.








And again we have to finish singing the birthday song real fast because the whole cake is melting!










The cake was so hard, it's difficult to cut even though it is melting. Kat had to use all of the strength she has to cut the cake.








Time to unwrap the presents! They wrap all of the present individually, I had to open them up one by one. Oh! There's even one humongous eraser which I can pass down to my future generations.
















All mint coloured! Okay, close to mint.
