Had free breakfast set at the Hotel's Cafe called, Bamboo Hut Bistro.
Prata with Curry Chicken set, the curry was good.
Big breakfast set.
Shopped in Jonker street again, the shop open in the morning, flea markets at night.
Wanted to try Peranakan food but I have to wait at least 30 mins for both restaurants. Went for Portugese food instead.
Here's what I ordered.
Four angered beans, one of my favourite veggies.
Curry Dable Chicken.
Portugese fried noodles, it's like mee goreng.
Prawn mama and baby.
That's where the Christ Church is, the signature red buildings. The hotel is just a 2 mins walk away, did you notice our hotel is red too?
Had fruits again. Honeydew.
Premium mixed fruits, RM3.50. There are cherries, plum, strawberry, golden kiwi and grapes.
Pomegranate seeds, RM2.50. Kind of weird.
Then I had a cup of starbucks.
I was going to walk over to a place for dinner but the roads were confusing. I liked this old building.
The trishaw uncle was injured, he charged us RM15 for the ride but we did not slash the price. Booking a trishaw will cost only RM40 per hour but they will bring you around the whole Malacca.
The trishaw uncle.
He decorates his trishaw with flowers all by himself, he says, "No flowers, no customers because they say not nice."
We went pass a lot of shophouses. Trishaws are very versatile, faster than taxis because as long as there is enough space for them to go pass the cars, they will just go pass. The uncle keeps ringing his bell to get the cars to give way.
I've got a special escort. Hee...
Finally reached my destination but look at the queue. Satay Celup here I come!
The queue behind us after 30 mins of waiting.
Finally reaching after approximately 1 hour of wait.
Finally got my table! Look at the satay sauce, it looks so yummy.
The person adds more ground peanuts, sugar and something else. The sauce is not spicy at all.
The ingredients which I picked, one of each.
Bread and cucumber.
Coconut juice.
That is where you get the sticks of satays from.
You have to ask for the premium items, this two prawns cost RM6 each.
Finished everything and the whole meal only cost RM40.
Walked back to hotel, the restaurant is just behind Christ Church anyway.
These are what I got from Jonkers Walk today, 9 boxes of pineapple tart.
*PS. My neck is breaking anytime soon and it seems like 38 degrees Celsius is my normal body temperature. I can't bend down, if not I think I will faint. I've been sleeping too much but it''s not helping at all. Mom is asking me to take her chinese medicine instead. I really don't know what is wrong with me.
