Had lunch with Martha at Thomson Plaza's Food Palace. Good Thai food from Jai Thai, I ordered the pineapple rice set for $6.80, consist of pineapple rice and 4 side dishes.
Pandan chicken. Nom nom nom~ Moist, tender and fragrant!
Spring roll, nothing much special but still nice!
Sweet and sour fish.
Thai green curry, the best thing to go along with pineapple rice. Yum!
Hard time at work today, was suppose to analyse the stocks, why they are moving fast or slow. The list given to me is wrong lar... see huh, for example...
100 sold = slow moving
20 sold = fast moving
Why the one which sells more is slow moving? You tell me how to analyse? -_-" Anyways, I've already clarified with boss before I leave office, if not I don't know when I can finish the report.
Decided to try the food at Sushi Don. Warning! Don't ever step into a restaurant that has Jap and Korean food. It was so wrong to step in Sushi Don.
Just see this, I was really turned off by how they serve green tea, showing us the cheap green tea bag even though it was $0.80 per cup, gosh!
Saba fish set, $9.90. Comes with gochujang dip and the dip is not nice at all, tasteless. The saba fish is alright, a little dry.
Kimchi soup comes with the set, too sour for my liking.
Katsu curry set, $9.90. Curry is passable and the katsu is pretty moist and tender.
Miso soup was plain, pretty tasteless.
Fruits: Payaya, honeydew and orange.
Conclusion: Food from Sushi Don is not value for money, we can get better food with that same amount of money.
Off I go to Fort Canning Park for Chunk Fest!
Walk up the very very long flight of stairs and we finally reach Raffles Terrace. The place where my company's Catalog 2008 Launch event was held last year. Memorable =)
Quite a lot of people at the fest. People are queuing for the ice cream, very very long queue...
Kind of like this picture which I took, too bad the heart is not facing me.
The ice cream stall and because the queue was too long, I didn't want to queue which means I didn't get to eat ice cream! Argh! Can't they open more stalls?
Singapore museum at night, beautiful!
I decided to walk to The Cathay to have my ice cream instead. The Ben n Jerry there is crowded and there is a queue too. Argh! Guess these people are the same as me, they couldn't get ice cream from the fest because they shoes are muddy too. Hahaha~
Went to Gelare at Plaza Singapura instead, to curb my urge for ice cream.
Xmas decorations hanging down from Plaza Singapura's ceiling. Pretty!
Mango Fizz, $5.14. Dear had to recharge.
Basket Delight Sundae, $11.96. 3 scoops of ice cream: Chocolate overload, vanilla bean and strawberry. Let's imagine this is Ben n Jerry's.
Bought a new screen protector from Daiso for my camera, the old one is peeling off soon.
My muddy boots.
Snails meeting! Wahahaha~ 6 snails altogether, are they gonna mate? Eww...
- The End - >.<
