Soothe my throat and reduce my coughing, a very very important to have when you have a bad throat. =)

There's so many to eat.

Outing with Papa, Mama and Sister. We did a little thrift shopping but I did not find anything nice.




Shopped around Daiso and I got some loots. I always find stuffs to buy in Daiso and never once leave empty handed, that's so incredible.

Papa complaint of hunger and so we stop by a stall selling roast or grill meat at the basement of Sembawang Shopping Centre.

Teriyaki Chicken with Sausage Fried Rice for only $2.60. This is really delicious, I should go there more often.




After shopping in Giant, Papa's mouth started itching for food again. Time for a tea break at Wan Chai Hong Kong Tea Room.

Ice coffee, $3. There's even a scoop of vanilla ice cream in it.




Mango Sago Pudding with Ice Cream, $4.20. What could I say, I've always been a dessert lover. It's a winner with big chunks of mango flesh in the pudding, thumbs up!




Portugese Curry Chicken Bake Rice, $8. This is so-so, curry was bland and watery. The chicken is tender and marinated well though.




I miss the Japanese Curry my boyfriend cooks for me, I don't think he has the time to cook for me anymore until his semester is over.

Bake rice comes with a bowl of bosch soup, I like the soup.

After the trip at Sembawang Shopping Centre, I went to Northpoint together with sister. I have to ask her to go because I'm already quite full and she has to share with me.

Green Curry, can't-have-it-cause-it's-too-spicy.




Chendol, lacking the flavour of brown sugar which I love very much. There is jackfruit and 'red rubies' inside, not bad.




Mango with Glutinous Rice, think the quality has dropped.




They took too long for our bill, was disappointed with their service. Boo!

Could you imagine how happy I was when I was finally able to reserve a copy of the Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter Collection from Kinokuniya? The best part of all: it comes with a tote bag! Boyfriend is sponsoring half of it. =D

Retailing at $27.50 each at Kinokuniya, I doubt anyone can find it at the stores since most of it might have already been reserved. Mine is coming in the second shipment, the first shipment has already been sold out within 2 weeks. And... yes, I don't think there will be a third shipment.

Sick again.

Took half day leave as my throat was very sore and painful until I couldn't speak at all. Took me a lot of time trying to clear all the phelgm in my throat so that it would not hurt anymore.

Half boiled egg for breakfast. =)





I had fever again when I reach office not long after office. Why do I keep getting sick? ='(

Still met up with my ex-colleagues anyway and we had dinner at Saporro Ramen Miharu. I ordered a fish-stock based ramen because I can't have any spicy ramen.




The soup base was tasty and full of flavor but a little too salty, so we asked for extra clear soup to add inside our bowl of ramen. I like the texture of the noodles but the cha siew is a little tough and do expect a thick layer of sesame oil in the soup too.

Then we sat down at Laurent's Cafe & Chocolate Bar for a drink, the cafe had the strong fragrance of chocolate and it kind of makes me feel good but the smell is very bad for somebody who is having a sore throat.

I had a cranberry cherry juice and we ordered a warm chocolate cake to share.




They have a wide range of chocolate drinks and desserts. The hot chocolate with whisky is a must-try, rum and raisin is too strong for somebody like me. I find a warm chocolate cake a little dry but still chocolatey. Thumbs up!

My lunch today: Rosti with roast chicken, hotdog and cherry tomatoes. Roast lamb sauce on top which I bought from cold storage. This is very very yummy!




Mini cupcake from crystal jade since they are having a 20% discount after 9.30pm. Yippee! I don't like the butter cake though.

Time to eat! Can't eat much because I was sick for 3 days and I had to leave space for supper later.

Here's what I ordered:

Con-Carne Sauce Pasta with their all-time Mexican's favourite minced beef with beans sauce. It has definitely become one of my favourites too and only $6.90!




Herb Spiced Chix, $6.90, with 2 sides of your choice, I chose Gratinated Potato and Coleslaw. The chicken cutlet was tender and well-marinated, the serving was also big. Thumbs up!




The Gratinated Potato side was so good that I had to take a picture of it. See the layers of sliced potatoes? Must go back for more...




Sauteed Escargots, $6.90 too! Of course, one wouldn't expect having lots of escargots in this dish, the escargots were sliced and sauteed with mushrooms, cream sauce and served on top of a IDAHO potato shell.




It was a Today's Special, very very delicious. I miss this dish while I am writing this post. Escargots and mushrooms compliment each other very well, together with thick cream sauce. I'm not a cream person but I still fell in love with it. The potato shell was fragrant and crispy, plus it did not turn soggy even when soaked inside the sauce. Highly recommended!

Just add $3.90 to your set and get a Soup of the Day, drink (choice of coffee, tea or peach tea)...




and free flow of popcorn!




Totally satisfied. =D
