Helped sis to do up 2 small bouquets of roses for her friends, pretty nice right?




Off to the airport we go, going to say a little farewell to my sister. She won't be home for 2 months, then back for a day and she's going to China for another 2 months. A total of 4 months.

Don't worry, I'm not sad. I'm going to have the whole room for myself! Woohoo!

Had a little stroll around Terminal 3, since she is going to check in at 4.30am. I know it is a very weird timing...

Valentine's day is finally over, not in the mood to blog about it. Let the pictures talk.

Valentine's day dinner with dear dear after work, had a craving for KFC.

Love.

Met up with my girls today. Shuhui is attached again, hurray for her! Cannot stand her... Keep smiling to herself, then ask her something about her boyfriend and her, also need to blush. Oh gosh! I think this woman is kind of crazy, keep 自-high.

We had dinner at SoupSpoon, I had the Simon and Garfunkel Chicken and Mushroom Ragout. Lots of chunky ingredients, slurp~




Helen joined us after we did a little shopping and we went for some desserts from 阿秋甜品.

White fungus and papaya, the little pot is cute.






Barley with ginko nuts and beancurd skin.




Aloe vera with strawberry, lime and honey. Just lime and honey drink with the small tiny cubes of strawberries, I think Serene feels ripped off by them.




Mango sago with pomelo. It has got coconut milk inside, the desserts very so-so. I think the shop, 记得吃, opposite sells better desserts.




The five of us took a picture at a nice cosy and pretty little area in Bugis. I look fat... =(

I miss my hometown.

Did a little shopping at Daiso, saw a lot of pigeons while I was on my way home.




My old fake chocs, I got it for the Operation or Surgery attachment during my nursing days.




I bought this pack of instant cake mix. I have the urge to bake but there isn't any time for me to do any massive baking. How I wish I had the time to bake and not having any trouble with the oven.




This ingredient which I will need.




Pour the cake mix and add in the egg, mix well.




Crave for chocolate chip cake and so I added some chocolate chips in.




The cake only needs 1.5 to 2 mins and please use microwave function only!




My end product! The cake is very dry, don't expect too much out of $2 cake mix. The chocolate has settled to the bottom, so... oh well... I miss my chocolate chip cookies.




I was reading my cousin's blog just now while eating my cake. Ahh~ I want to go back to my hometown in Malaysia! I miss those kampong days, even though it is very very hot there.

I hope I can go back there next year but with Chinese New Year falling on Valentine's Day which is also a Sunday is no fun at all. I miss the firecrackers that they will put off during Chinese New Year eve. Aww~ I'm feeling very emotional... ='(

Had Sociology lesson today and my lecturer did a little test on us. We will just have to score the different characteristics from 0 to 10. My scores below:

What the lecturer predicted about my work attitude was so true! Not something that I will talk about it in my blog though, it's my personal thinking. Oh well...

Today is everyones' birthday!

Very late lunch or tea snack at my 大舅 house.

Finally got my Levis jeans changed, the salesman has very bad service. He actually says they did not remove the stitch. Hey, I'm not interested to know whether you remove the stitch or not, just change my pair of jeans and shut up. Bimbo-tic.

I only know that the salesperson thinks I was crazy for bringing back something which could be stitch back easily for exchange. I'm just not happy if the original stitch dissolves into thin air, can?

My first pair of Levis.

I bought my first pair of Levis jeans today! First time getting such an expensive pair of jeans, kind of feel very heart-broken to part with my money, even though I did trade in a old pair of jeans, so I got a $50 discount off.






Want to know what happen when I got home?

I was admiring at the jeans, then I notice the opening of the left leg where the stitches should be, "Ehh... How come can flip open?"

Very calmly... I took the right leg opening to compare, right side got stitch, left side no stitch. -_-" No kidding! One whole round of stitch nicely gone, not even a trace of it!

Can't believe it! Levis is branded and this kind of thing actually happen. I told you Year 2009 is a very bad year for me, even though it is the Year of the Ox. Haiz~ Bad luck, bad luck.

Huat ah!

We did Lo Hei today! I think this is the best Lo Hei I even had, I am going to get Lo Hei from Ikea next year too.




I love the salmon slices and the taste was just right, yum yum...

Happy Birthday to Daddy!

Went to Ikea Tampines with sis. Not bad, very little people, hahaha! Should come again during next Chinese New Year.

We shared a hotdog and curry puffs for dinner and then we had desserts at the restaurant.

Princess Cake, $3.00. This is ice cream cake, delicious and not too sweet.



Arrak rolls aka Dammsugare aka vaccum cleaners, only $1.00. Has got marzipan and liqueur, sis don't like the taste of it.




I bought a set of Lo Hei to bring home which only cost me $8, it includes a pack of salmon too. Very worth it! Got a lucky draw, so I got 1 and guess what did I get?




One complimentary drink! -_-"




I found a cake from their food store! I needed to get a cake urgently for my daddy's birthday and I could not find one anywhere, since most of the shops are closed during Chinese New Year.

Princess cake for only $9.80, damn worth it! Hahaha, plus it's an ice cream cake. We added the candle and decoration ourselves.
