A day in Pulau Ubin.

We're off to Pulau Ubin, the rest bought the deal while boyfriend and I did not. We're saving the money for Taiwan instead, Singapore isn't big, we could just go home to sleep and I don't have to worry about the mosquitoes.

We did a 'one to five' shoot.

Took the bus to Celestial Resort.




The bus driver told us to just walk in, the reception is in front. I feel cheated.




Could have asked the boatman to drop us at this jetty instead, which is so much nearer to the reception. Haha.








The receptionist asked us to wait till 2pm when we will only be allowed to check in, so we went to the restaurant for the welcome drink first.




The fishes in the pool was not scared of people at all. It was swimming so close to the kid.

The kayak area was very very small.




The complimentary lunch, lobster pasta, which you could get after checking out but a stranger gave 10 coupons to us because they didn't want to wait for it. The lobster was sweet but the spaghetti was just 'meh'....

After around 2 hours of eating, drinking and playing which I think was quite a waste of time just because of the reception. I could have already finished cycling around Pulau Ubin. We went back to the reception and.... we have to queue again?

And daydreamed while they were still queuing.... Think we spend another 2 hours during the queue? Very slow service.




They finally got their rooms after a long wait and finally got to settle down a little. Boyfriend and I went out to rent bicycles while the rest have to wait for theirs at the resort because the person was having lunch.









If only I could bring that vintage tray back.
