As promised, here is the way I cook pasta, my style!
Tomato sauce and pasta, the most basic stuff even if you don't want to add anything else. I like wholemeal pasta, I think it has more flavour and healthy.
First, boil the water and add half teaspoon of salt in the water.
Add in pasta after the water has started boiling.
Get the ingredients that you want to add inside your dish. Too bad, there is no onion (it will make the sauce taste sweeter), I used garlic instead.
Tadaa! All cut up into small bite size. I removed the seeds of the tomato, if not the dish will look too messy.
By this time, the noodles are done, filter out the water.
You will need olive oil to fry the ingredients, healthy and fragrant. Of course, you can use other types of cooking oil too.
Stir fry the chopped garlic till it turns a little brown. I added some dried rosemary, so my pasta will smell nicer.
Sauteed the cut ingredient till fragrant and a little brown.
Pour in the amount of pasta sauce needed.
Warning!: Make sure you open the bottle cap even before you start frying. I forgot, you could just imagine me running around the house trying to get my brother or my father to open up the bottle cap.
Add in the cooked pasta and mix well.
End product. Very very delicious! I finished everything within 15 mins. That basil was from my dad's flower pot, fresh and organic.
I'm hungry now. =P
