Wenqing is 22 finally.

Pork porridge for lunch without century egg. I'm always special in the house, hahaha! Porridge cannot have century egg, salted fish steam meat cannot have salted fish. Then I will get the special dish, if not I won't eat.

Actually I'm alright with century egg now but I still don't like it in porridge, feels weird. The salted fish always have this fishy smell, damn yucky.




We're out to celebrate Wenqing's birthday in the evening. Happy Birthday to Wenqing!

Off we go to Paragon for dinner even though it is still very early. Took pictures in the ladies~ Where's the birthday girl? Still in the toilet laa...

Dinner at Din Tai Fung. We manage to get a special room for ourselves. =P




Wondering what to eat...




小菜 (Appetizer), $2.80. I love this, must order everytime. Crunchy seaweed and cold glass noodles, yum yum.




Braised beef slices, $6.00. Fragrant but I find it a bit tough.




Look at the translucent fats, looks like glass.




紅燒牛肉湯麵 (Braised beef noodle soup).




酢醬麵 (Noodles mixed in broad-bean sauce), $7.00. I think this is the safest to order because the rest looks too healthy for me.




油豆腐細粉 (Glass noodle soup), $7.80. I think the soup is not bad, fragrant and not oily but dear dear don't like it.




排骨蛋炒飯 (Fried rice with eggs and fried pork chop). Pork chop is not tender, I call it chewy.




元盅雞湯 (Steamed chicken soup). Very fragrant, the chefs must have cook the soup for a very long time, another must try.




小籠包 (Steamed pork dumplings). Another must have but I still think Crystal Jade's dumplings taste much better.

Did a little shopping around Far East Plaza. Then off we go to Mac Cafe for a drink, bought a slice of birthday cake for Wenqing.




I only had a little because it is made of cheese.
