we stopped by National Library
there was an exhibition on architecture design
so we had a look around
nice glass tiles
all different designs!
funny looking square toilet bowl
went to the toilet at the basement of NLB
people rarely go to the toilet there
sis was opening and doing set up for her own camera
while waiting...

we decided to have early dinner at Hip Diner USA
why do we always eat there after buying our cameras?
i have 3 vouchers, $15 off with min order of $30
can't believe it lar
order the Hip Rooster at first
then the waitress said they can't do the order
okay, i changed it to Meat Loaf
the waitress came back to tell us that the oven is broken
can't order that too!
what the heck!
we ended up ordering a Hip Burger

Hip Nachos, Scottsdale ($7.50) was served
cheese, salsa n chicken bits
make a great combi~
i think this shot is nice~
some nachos that were soaked at the bottom
turned soggy while we finish up our dessert first
not tat nice liao lar...
waffle fantasy with Ben n Jerry's ice cream ($8.90)
phish food n strawberry shortcake
*shouldn't they serve desserts last?
both of us were quite full after our dessert
eating the waffle with the serious look
Hip Burger ($13.59)
the first bite was nice
but subsequently... found the patty too dry
i ordered medium well leh
but it is like well done lo...
too dry to swallow lar
had leftover cheese from the nachos
so we put all our fries in the bowl
and pour in more salsa sauce!
tadaa~ yummy cheese fries
called for the bill
and the total was $29.90!
oh my gosh... 10 cents! -_-"
include GST and service charge
we have to pay $17 each...
jus because of all tat changing of orders
i counted the price nicely lar
then change change...
now 10 cents short... shit...
sis and i ordered a peach freeze ($4.90)
jus to get rid of that stupid 10 cents
even though we were very full
the peach freeze was nice!
bits of crush ice are very very fine
the freeze feels smooth...
highly recommended!
so after using the $15 off voucher
we paid like $12.50 each
quite a good deal...

took a look around kinokuniya
sis found a nice handicraft magazine from japan!
look at wat they did to their DS...
so pretty~ so tempting lar
i wanna do it too!
our pretty grabs for the day
saw some alike watches from Muee
of course they have much more designs
told sis that bugis street got sell
she dun believe me (though i neva see it there before)
so we went to the watch shop at bugis street
then we found it! $5 each!
bwahahaha! wat a happy find!
the day ended pretty yucky
i hate taking bus 980 on Sundays!
