Around de world in one night.

So I was out with my brother after work for a little chilling out and shopping. I wanted to try 'i love taimei' but I wasn't craving for any oily food. Just wanted to go somewhere where we could sit down and slowly enjoy our food, even though we're not hungry.




Ended up at Liang Seah Street. Walked by Around De World - A Pasta Affair and I just stop my brother from walking further and dragged him in.




The place is too refreshing to give it a miss, blue and white decors with shocking pink tables. They are serving 4 course set meals at $15.90 which includes a soup of the day, main course, ice cream and a drink.

Decided to give the 4 course meal a miss, since I am going to share with brother. We ordered our own 4 course meal instead.

Rootbeer. "Eh... where's my ice cream? I ordered a float." The waitress had to get it changed.




Caesar Salad, $4.90. The bacon pieces inside are very salty, would be better if it's in smaller pieces. You eat salad with chopsticks here.

Carbonara, $9.90. Nom nommm... not too creamy. Surprisingly, the bacon used in the carbonara isn't salty.




Rootbeer float, $4.50.




Banana bar, $5.90. A heavenly combination of bananas, chocolate and custard. This is oomph!




Must clear everything off our plates!

Urban pantry.

Urban Pantry at Novena Square serves set meals that is value for money. Only $7.90 for a main course, a soup or side and a drink. Note that Urban Pantry is in tie with Donut Factory.

Ice lemon tea.




Mushroom cream soup, it doesn't taste like the canned soup.




Tom Yum Seafood Pasta. Delicious but a little salty with MSG.




Meatball pasta. The meatballs are made of mashed meat which feels like potato croquette, I don't like the texture of it.




Creamy Mushroom Pasta.




Fried Calamari, had to add another $0.80 to the meal. The calamari is hmm... crispy!




I will be back again when I want value for money food.

Who says I'm not afraid of weight gain?

Banana with a dollop of nutella for a sinful late night snack.

Met up with sister after my tutorial, she wanted to get her running shoes from Queensway. She got the same pair as mine anyway.

Dinner at Joe's Kitchen. Think the food should be alright, since the shop looks quite popular.




Seafood tom yum soup. This is delicious but a little too spicy for me.




Pad Thai, a little too sour and the kway teow used isn't good. It eventually became tom yum soup with kway teow.




Keeps socialising on her phone. Very rude, you know?




My eyebags look terrible that day, swollen. =(

Our bowl of pineapple fried rice is finally here. It tastes like... erm... weird? I don't like the spice they use.




We wanted to go for ice cream at Udders initially, I haven't tried their ice cream yet even though my office is quite near. The bus just happen to pass by Chinatown and we thought: "We can go KBox!"

Sang till KBox close at 4am and we took the bus home. Slept around 5am.

Staying out isn't my kind of stuff. Cannot take it. =(

Lunch at MacRitchie Reservoir, Mushroom Cafe. Ordered a mix nugget platter with fries, $4. They don't serve wonderful food here but the place has a good environment for relaxation.




More Gong Cha after work with Kat and TC. You know it's just tempting when Kat said she's going to get Gong Cha and since I have nothing to do, I might as well get my share of 'ecstacy' too.
