I'm a member of iPhone club.

Off to Plaza Singapura to meet sister once my exam is over, I'm signing a 2-year contract with Starhub for my 32GB iPhone! Student plan which means I've got unlimited SMS and additional 100 mins outgoing call-time.

Yes yes... I know that the iPhone is very very common everywhere but I wanted it because of its functions and especially when it has lots of cute little games for me to play. Needless to say, the photography functions too!

Love having breakfast with Mum and Dad.

Woke up at 8am in the morning to have breakfast with Mummy and Daddy! Back to the same place where we had lunch yesterday because Mummy was craving for the duck hor fun.

The chilli sauce is also a must-have! It's not too spicy with fragrance of lemon skin. Mmm... I'm craving for it right now.




Ended my breakfast with a bowl of soy beancurd.




Sister came home from her Graduation Exhibition and she brought some freebies home.

Skinfood giving out free cookies but in this kind of packaging, it's look unedible. By the way, it's only Chipsmore chocolate chip cookie...

Yummy lunch with daddy.

Daddy took me out for yummy lunch today! So happy!

He brought me back to where we used to live when I was still a newborn or toddler. Mei Ling Street, it's just near the MDIS campus at Queensway. I swear I didn't know it was just behind and how would I even remember the place when I was only a very small kid?

Daddy wanted duck hor fun but the duck is all sold, we had the chicken thigh hor fun instead. I had the $3.50 serving.




Daddy had the $4 serving, seriously it is double of what I had and only $0.50 difference. Next time I should just order the $4!




They're very generous with the sauce, I like! The chicken thigh is tender and smooth. You will definitely need some good chopsticks skill to eat, as the hor fun will keep slipping off the chopsticks.

This stall. My father knows the owner, a grandpa, because he is also from Kampar! Daddy is in the picture too, packing some for my mummy.




We brought mum's share for her to eat during her break. Her share has pork ribs, the auntie very nice, give extra. Hehe!




PS. we'll be going back early morning tomorrow for the duck hor fun! Must go to bed now.

Me: Hmm... I hope what I'm looking at is not what I see now.

Me: The rat ate it. (still trying to stay very calm)

I went to the coldroom where we store all our fresh flowers, looking for replacement. None, there's none... Argh! I almost went crazy. I kept the lilies in a nice corner to just let them bloom for 2 days and... and... damn rat!






Uncle peter set the glue trap before I left, there's some fish bak kwa on top. We must get it this time, I can't let anymore of my flowers get eaten up again!

I'm a shopping addict.

I actually waited 2 hours for my sister. Haha! That's like so rare of me to wait for someone that long.

Penang prawn noodles, shared a bowl with sister. The soup is yummy!




I got a tray of sushi while waiting for my sister and pack 2 large Mash Potatoes from popeyes. We haven't had our mash potatoes yet, too full. I might bring it to work tomorrow.




My loots for today! Oh, I got another 2 tops from Forever 21 too. Hehe.




A small tube of perfume from Seline as farewell gift, she left on Monday but I was on leave for exams. Oh well... no proper goodbye. Thanks, Seline!

Simple happiness.

Chit-chatting with my sister last night when I was suppose to be sleeping, so that I could wake up early this morning and continue revising.

It's more like a summarised update of what happened during these years and what we have been through, our thoughts and feelings.

Of course the chat would consist of relationships - how we think about some guys and we they act in some ways. The kind of guys which we think would be more attractive to us. Hahaha! Of course, I wouldn't say it here. =P Happy guessing!

Then, it was the family. I felt Mummy and Daddy has got more wrinkles as compared to a few years back. I was tearing while we were talking about them... How we were still not able to give them financial support, even at my age... I feel I'm not doing enough. Things we wanted to do in future for our parents, wanting them to retire and just relax all they can. All we could do is dream now. Yup! We work towards that goal together!

Yes and of course, ourselves, the way we have changed - attitudes and behavior towards life. We used to take everything for granted when we were young and now even something simple we would be happy. Something as simple as my mum preparing dinner for us... Ahh~ you know? Finding happiness from the most simple things in life and being grateful for it.

This is what I always believe in:
Having lots of money doesn't make one happy but making good use of the money will make everyone happy and that makes you happy too, so why not?

I slept real late last night but the conversation makes me kind of happy, somehow. =)

One day at a time -- This is enough.

Do not look back and grieve over the past for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present and make it beautiful, it will be worth remembering.

Happiness is a journey.

Lunch.

Smoked duck salad!




I actually joined the long queue outside Cold Storage yesterday just to get the smoked duck. Whole duck for only $11.90, half price! I feel like an auntie while queuing, hehe. This duck is going to last me for quite some time, I'm going to leave it in the freezer.

Sister and I grilled 2 chicken fillets, it is ready-marinated from Cold Storage. On offer due to it has already been on display for quite some time. Quite yummy.




And a bowl of soup sister cooked, I helped her with the addition of seasoning, if not she's going to kill me with a lot of salt.

Mummy loves having lunch with me!

Late lunch with Mummy at Ishi Mura, this has slowly become some kind of routine - having meals with Mummy every weekend during her work break. Sometimes she even calls me, asking me whether I'm going to eat with her. Haha! Well, I guess she just wants me to accompany her.

Mango yakult, $2.20. Kinda diluted.




Ebi Katsu Curry Don, $4.80. The curry is not bad, most importantly got egg... I think this is more value then their Ebi Katsu Bento which costs like $7.




Ishi Special Vegetable Pancake, $6.90. Rice and noodles are fattening, veggie pancake is better for health and diet.




Met sister, she had her lunch and then we proceeded to Sushi Deli. 7 pieces of sushi (worth $0.60 each) for only $3, too bad it doesn't include the Salmon sushi. Promotion ends tomorrow!

Something like Macaron Burger, it's not on their website. Rose flavor macaron with raspberry fillings. Mmm... yum yum! Me likey!




The best out of all 4 cakes, again not on their website. We call this the Snickers cake, just like what we call it... Snickers! For the Snickers lovers! We love crunchy peanuts, the not-so-sweet caramel and crispy base.




Triple Chocolate Cheesecake, old classic stuff. Haha! Okay, again... no cheesecakes for me.

So not happy when I received my 88 colour eyeshadow. Bits and pieces all over, eyeshadows dropping out of the plate and worse of all... it's a mixture!




Took me like 1 hour to clear up the mess. Grrr...
